  • Orbitz dot com! you ASS HOLE!

    so back in January, i reserved at Travelodge for party of four through Orbitz...
    the price they quoted was $100 flat for party of 4.

    when i arrived at Travelodge in South Lake Tahoe, the receptionist told me there's extra charge for extra party i had in a room... 
    Travelodge stated - "the room is meant for 2 people at price of $100.  if you are going to extra people staying over, it will be $10 more per person." 
    i showed him the receipt i printed through Orbitz, and he said they were wrong. 
    i ended up paying $20 more to stay or else i wouldn't have a play to stay.
    he recommanded that i contact Orbitz and get reimbursed...

    so i've been tring to contact Orbitz for 3 months...

    these are few messeges i got back -

    1.  "Thank you for contacting Orbitz.

    We understand your concern regarding
    this issue and apologize for the
    delay in getting back to you.
    In
    reviewing our reservation system, I show that you have contacted our

    customer service representative i this regard. Our representative has

    contacted the hotel in this regard. The hotel representative has

    informed us that the hotel had charged you more than what had been

    quoted by Orbitz because of the $10.00 extra person fee. $97.00 was the

    cost for 2 people and you had 4 guests for this reservation, hence you

    had been charged $20.00. However, I further show you have been advised

    to fax in your receipt for this reservation.
    For further assistance in
    this regard, please contact Orbitz
    hotelhelpdesk at 888-656-4546. Our
    representative will be glad to assist
    you. If you are calling from outside
    the United states, please call
    1-312-416-0018.

    We value you as a
    customer and look forward to serving you again in the
    future."

    2.  "Thank you for contacting Orbitz.

    We apologize for the delay in getting
    back to you.  Unfortunately, the
    research is taking longer than expected.due
    to high inflow of email
    volume involving research.
     
    At this time, we
    do not have a turn around time on when a resolution
    will be forthcoming.
    However, we shall try our best to have a resolution
    on your issue at the
    earliest.
     
    You will be contacted by our resolution department as soon as
    your issue
    is resolved

    We value you as a customer and look forward to
    serving you again in the
    future."

    3.  "Thank you for contacting Orbitz.

    In reviewing our reservation system, I
    show that your issue has already
    been forwarded to the appropriate
    department for further research.
    However, for further assistance regarding
    this issue please contact us
    over the phone at 888-656-4546 or if you are
    calling from outside of US,
    please contact us on our international number at
    1-312-416-0018. Our
    Customer Service representative will be glad to assist
    you.

    We value you as a customer and look forward to serving you again in
    the
    future."

    i HAVE sent them about 20 e-mails so far...  attachments of my receipt (scanned), hyperlink of my receipt, PHOTO of my receipt..

    Do you see how the messeges are pretty much similar?
    those assholes don't wanna give me my $20

    Fuck YOU ORBITZ!
