  • i have no idea what Starbucks is doing...  their marketing scheme, their new blend of coffees and lattes but i'm here to tell you one thing


    "IF you like Chicken Tikka Masala, then go get Pumpkin Spice Latte!"

    few days ago, i was handed a card from an employee at starbucks in hayward...
    "for so and so doing something something, we want to pass on the
    appriciation to you by blah blah, PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE, blah blah blah"
    (i don't know why they don't just say "FREE! PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE!")

    and i got to try it recently...
    dude...  i donno if they just do not know how to make it right...
    but it tastes really really really really really close (*may be it IS)
    like Chicken Tikka Masala!

    i mean~!! i LOVE indian food!  i love chicken tikka masala! 
    but i would prefer to taste it off the plate with Naan!  not in a
    starbucks cup!

    i kno it's bad.. but tiki masala?!?! rofl.

  • Maybe the nutmeg that always accompanies pumpkin flavor is overpowering, and it reminds you of the pungent cumin aroma in CTM, which is also sweet like pumpkin flavor.

    And it's chicken TIKKA MASALA people; it's not an Italian wine curry, nor is it a torch =).

  • I thought the Pumpkin Latte was weak. Could barely taste the pumpkin. WEAK!!!!

  • i love chk tika masala.. actually i found a new place that serves better ones than tandor kitchen..
    but pumpkin latte,... wow
