  • 18,000 killed in massive Asia quake


    God's really really mad at somebody over there..

    wait a minute, we ain't all that safe either...  we've got Bush! 

    i remember checking earlier during the day of this article...  i
    was very certain that the headline stated 3,000 killed at that moment... about
    10 hours ago... 
    but look the headline now..

    yikes..

  • I remember reading that if you live in one area all your life, that statistically, there has NEVER been two major quakes within one lifetime of each other.

    I figure we're a little safer than we all think we are. :) Still though - can't predict nature. No matter where you go, there's earthquakes, hurricanes, lightning, poisonous cobras, gangbangers with cars and uzis,a nd disease.

    Oh, what a wonderful world! You know how they say the meek shall inherit the earth? Well god dammit, I don't want this crappy earth, its full of problems! It's a lemon! can't I have a working planet? Haha.
