• interesting . . . a new roomate, a Visiting Scholar from BeiJing?

  this guy really likes me~!    he thought i was really
  really friendly~!  first time we meet, he seemed like he never
  seen another asian man before!  he was shaking my hand, friendly
  tap over my shoulders~  and big big smile on his face~  and
  he says in Chinese accent,
  "woa~  you korean`" 
   i said "oh~  you're right!~" 
  and he said "woa~  you furom ErRay?"
  "huh? . .. oh LA?  yea!~"
  he was good~!
  he said i had that "look" of LA/Korean...  'what does that mean?'

  anywho...  to make things really simple, he decided to take it at
  the spot, constantly commenting "woh...  Dis iz Bet-ter" 
  with THAT accent...
  out of curiosity, i asked him why he was moving out of his current place...
  he said his roomates have too many girls over~?!  HECK  I NEED TO MOVE IN THERE!~
  he said both of his roomates were bringing girls every night, and he
  couldn't get any work done~?!   WHAT WAS I DOING!?
  then he asked "you have Gur furen?"  my simple reply was "... not yet..."

  then he takes a blank check out of his newly opened Bank of America
  checking account folder and rips me a check and says "you righ fo
  me"   HE WANTED TO WRITE HIS CHECK?!

  well he i got his check...  he didn't pick up this apartment keys....  i got his check....

  he said he'll e-mail me tomorrow to schedule time to move in his
  stuff.... "you guys rook sma, i rhaike you guys... 
  good."   and he left...
