Golf! Golf! Golf!
ok! finally, i am able to hit the ball straigh! with a DRIVER!
i think i’m ok with 5 and up irons… but when it comes to drivers… man~ it’s embarrasing!
*PING! sounds soo good but when you see the ball fly, it just curves *CRAZY to the right…well i went to Tilden with Dave hyung and he corrected me couple things i was doing wrong…
(not using my legs?)
after couple practice swings, *of course it’s like slow swing as it can
get… i tried hitting the ball in same manner~ what
do you know! it’s going STRAIGH! not far enough for my
satisfastion of course, but it’s going straigh!!!!!! no curves, no
slices, straight!!i need to go again and try to set that form as standard, once that’s
done, kekeke i should be able to blast the balls like Eugene does~ -
Zoom Zoom Zoom~~ ^^
so, Mazda held up an event that was absolutely free~
i got to “test drive” the new Mazda MX-5(miata), and *omg don’t buy this car* Mazda5
first time really driving out on a track! it was soo exciting! i can’t wait until i get to try a real auto-cross! ^^for pictures, use navigation menu on top and go to “picture me” .. or just “click here”
oh, the also cool part of this event! not only it was absolutely
free~ they also gave us free hotdogs and t-shirt! ^^everytime i see a Mazda… it just looks like a toy car for me to
whip it around and leave burnt rubber on the road~
Zoom Zoom Zoom~~~ ^^*update : i had to run out in a hurry so i couldn’t finish this entry as i wanted to
so MX-5 (miata) – it was pretty easy car to drive, light clutch, light
car, small and easy~ the event was called “Jinba Ittai”? whatever
that means… the point of that experience (so they say) is to
have *smoothness… yea right, me and kyung said…
they stuck this salad bowl looking thing on top of the hood and made us
drive with golf balls inside that bowl… if you drive smoothly,
the golfballs will stay in that bowl thinggy… whatever!!
funny thing, the moment kyung left the starting point, one ball is
already OUT, and by the first turn, all of them…he made the course in
29 seconds… all balls out… i thought
i was able to do better than that.. well at least the keeping the
golf-ball part… nope~! i lost all the balls in first turn
too~ and got 31 sec… oh, the targetted time
to beat was 34 sec
then, we got to drive Mazda5~! freaking mini-MINI-van~
time to beat was 45 sec… didn’t seem that hard~
so James went for it, got 49sec.. then i did, 47sec….
Kyung went for it… 46sec… soo close… i wanna do
that again~! -
sometimes you look back to your day and just things that you regret
comes up to your mind… regretting to wake up early enough to
start your day, regretting eating that left over from 2 weeks ago,
regretting because you haven’t really started your day and your clock
points 6:50 pm. or regretting how you made someone feel bad
couple days ago.
regret can be defined many way to people.. through their personality, culture, etc.
but i guess for everyone, it’s a point of being ashamed. Ashamed
that you no longer wanting to talk about it, ashamed that you no longer
wishs that people will talk about it. never to be mentioned
again, never to be brought again. while at that, you realize that
regret isn’t just a point of submerging your feelings and shames.
it’s time of reflection.. it’s time of realizing what you did, and how
you can fix it, what not to do.everytime i look at the mirror, see that scar on my chin, i keep
reminding myself…. ‘ you know that sign that says “no running near
swimming pool”, you should’ve followed it…’ but there are
scars that reflect not through outer skin… sometimes, walking
around the San Francisco reminds you of your stupid non-sense scene you
created… sometimes, seeing your cel-phone sitting on your desk
reminds you of the time you said some “not so pleasent” things to a
person on the opposite side… sometimes… music
brings you back to the time…it’s funny to see that if you regret about a lot of things you did in
your life…. it may seem like you just have mistakes after
mistakes… but if you regret… at least you are being a
human… a person who can actually reflect back and say “i was
stupid”…
for that…i was more stupid…. i am stupid… i will be less stupid…
-
you know…. how many time in your life you took a risk without thinking
of what the consequences might be…how many time you realized that what
you did was stupid and dumb.. at same time, you know you don’t
regret it…..sometimes its those simple reasons that your heart tells
you to do that changes the course of your life… sometimes you take
that road even though your mind tells you, ‘straight toward
catastrophic events’ but sometimes, you just continue on with your journey because your ‘heart said so’what are the things that causes these confusion in you life? is
it simple pride you have? is it simple shame you don’t want to
experience? or may be it’s just simple things that people will
say after certain sequences of your act? .do you happen to know the solution of this question? or are you
in the said boat as i am wondering if this moment is worth taking for…this is stupid….
i’m off to L.A. -
Look at these two scavengers i found couple nights ago below my balcony…
I don’t know what was in that plastic bag left by a bum… but they
were digging through it all night long! i shot BB’s at them with
my BB-Gun~ but they didn’t care at all~ they just flinched
and went back to scavenging~ so i threw some peanuts at them for
them to eat~
what a cute little thieves
